Hello all and welcome to the 1st annual 212 fundraiser 5k/2 mile run/walk. First of all you should know this is not a sanctioned or timed run we just wanted to give everyone the opportunity to participate in anyway they are most comfortable. Our event takes place of the American Liver Foundation fundraiser we have hosted the last several years. The ALF is a great organization but with the overwhelming support we have received I decided it was in the best interest of our efforts to direct the funds we raise to the organization I founded to help the transplant community and their families in a more personal way. My intent is to be able to tell each one of you who donate who and how we have helped. I know your participation is unconditional but the happiness and relief that your generosity allows our families to experience needs to be shared.
Please join us Oct. 27th at 8:00 at English Landing Park in Parkville, MO. The run/walk will start at 9am followed by lunch in the Park. Please RSVP to this email if you plan to attend the event. Include in your RSVP if you will be staying for lunch. This will take place of a formal registration.
